Neo’s 86 Astra Turbo

29/10/02 – Neo’s Astra has been given a face lift lately. Not only aesthetically with the new Jetspeed front bar (yet to be painted) but also with a new engine combo that is good for 150kw’s at the wheels making this N12 one of the more powerful getting around. The T25 was ditched in favour of a trick GT28 Turbine mounted on a custom exhaust manifold. The big opening in the front bar is now filled with a large front mount cooler connected with new aluminium intercooler pipes. A new 3 inch dump pipe was fabricated to suit the new turbo position and at the same time he installed a new custom ground cam and turned the boost up to 19psi with the help of his new turbosmart controller.
